Dustin Crawford has advised on over $11 billion in financial transactions including the prearranged Chapter 11 restructuring of SandRidge Energy, Inc. (NYSE:SD), public company M&A and asset purchase agreements, first and second lien and unsecured debt capital markets deals, revolving credit facilities and commercial real estate divestitures. He has also advised on significant corporate events including board reconstitutions, management transitions, and stockholder activist campaigns.
Dustin joined Hall Estill as Of Counsel in February 2020, where he represents clients on corporate and transactional matters. Prior to joining Hall Estill, he served as Senior Counsel and Assistant Corporate Secretary of SandRidge Energy, Inc. and in similar capacities at Chesapeake Energy Corporation (NYSE: CHK) and in private practice with Bracewell & Giuliani, LLP (now, Bracewell LLP). Dustin received his Juris Doctor from Columbia Law School, where he was President and Editor-in-Chief of the Columbia Journal of Environmental Law, and his Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry, magna cum laude, from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
