During his career, Bryan Fuller worked at the United States Patent & Trademark Office as a Patent Examiner where he examined chemical and mechanical patent applications in the oil and gas industry. His patent law practice emphasizes chemical, petroleum, biotech related technologies, and mechanical related technologies. More specifically, his practice is centered around drafting and filing patent applications for oil and gas related technologies, such as downhole tools and service methods.

While at the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office, he primarily examined any apparatus used above ground in conjunction with an oil or gas well, any tool used to bore the earth, any mechanical apparatus used in a wellbore, and any method for applying a chemical application or for servicing an oil or gas well. Bryan, who is a member of the Citizen Potawatomi Nation, practices in all areas of IP law, including patents, trademarks, copyrights, trade secrets, and unfair competition.
